great product, I use it on a desk in a room with some sound proofing base, I am getting great recording quality with sound that just has to be optimized, as opposed to heavily filtered and edited with noise reduction. easy to move to other locations. I don't think I'll ever holder of the microphone that came with it, as it needs constant reinforcement, and with a microphone that weighs a few pounds is a bit shaky. so I recommend a separate medium.
